Mont Caly

The tour of mont-caly is a classic for the whole family. The loop starts at the top of the mont-chéry cable car, which you can use with your bike (with a valid lift pass). After passing under the start of the pointe chairlift, turn right onto the path that climbs up. After 800m and entering the forest, go straight on at the first crossroads on the descent and then on the flat that leads you to the lachat barn, isolated in the meadow. A long descent of 1300m will bring you to the sumptuous hamlet of mont-caly and its typical savoyard alpine chalets. A real little paradise and the opportunity to take a break in front of one of the most beautiful views of the gets on the mont-blanc chain. A pool with drinking water is available in the hamlet. The return journey is via the lower path, which alternates between ascents and descents in the forest. Towards the end of the route, you can admire the small artificial lake of pure blue which feeds the snow guns in the winter. This route can also be done easily in the other direction.
