Col du Ranfoilly

This circuit starts from the village centre next to the departure of the chavannes chairlift. Take the direction of the lac des ecoles via the path which passes in front of the hotel le crychar. Passing under and to the left of the schools, you will reach the small path of the peat bog which will lead you to the lake. Go along the bottom of the alta lumina fence to find the mouille au ronde path by the small path going up. When you reach the mouille au ronde mountain chalets, continue down the slope to the left and follow the path that will take you below the mouille au blé lake. At the intersection, take the left-hand path which passes in front of the indian territory (winter installation) and continue until you reach the restaurant le wetzet. You will join the tarmac road of joux-plane which will lead you to the lake of the same name where you can take a break facing the mont-blanc. Take the same road in the other direction to go up to the col de ranfoilly which is at the top of the nauchets chairlift. Take the dirt road from there to go back to the chavannes sector. Take the direction of pleney via the path which runs alongside the golf course and which will lead you to the hamlet of nabord… The return to les gets is via the blue track of the bikepark.
