The Mont-Caly route is a classic for all the family.

The loop starts at the top of the Mont-Chéry gondola that you can take with your bike (you will need a valid lift pass).

After passing below the start of the La Pointe ski lift, take the uphill path to the right. After 800m and entering into the forest, continue straight on at the first crossroads on the descent then on the flat which takes you to Grange de Lachat, which stands alone in the meadows.

A long descent of 1,300m then takes you to the stunning hamlet of Mont-Caly and its traditional Savoyard Alpine pasture chalets.

A spot of heaven and the chance to take a break to admire one of the most beautiful views in Les Gets of the Mont Blanc mountain range.

A water fountain with drinking water is at your disposal in the hamlet.

The return is via the lower path which alternates between climbing and descending through the forest.

Towards the end of the route you can admire the small, beautiful blue man-made lake which is used to supply the snow machines in winter.

This route can also be easily taken in the other direction.
