Col de Joux Verte

The start is in Les Gets with a descent down to the village of Montriond via Morzine.  On arrival in the centre of Montriond,  pick up the direction to Ardent where the route begins to climb.After passing close to the very beautiful Lake Montriond, you go through the avalanche protection tunnel to arrive in the hamlet of Ardent, then the route climbs more steeply and after several hairpins you arrive in Les Lindarets, otherwise known as the “Goat Village”. The ascent of Col de la Joue Verte continues on a steady incline through the forest.On arrival at the pass, turn right for the descent back to Morzine via the Avoriaz road. The return to Les Gets from Morzine is via the B-road (route departementale).
